Task 3 : Asian Civilliasation

                Activities in the past:
----------> Transportation in the river
The Singapore river is used as a port and a way to go to another island in the past. They use boats or ferries to go around an island or Singapore. Because of this Immigrants come to Singapore..                                                                 

---------------------->Trading 
In the past there was a big trade between neighbourhood countries like China and etc . Because of the place  position of Singapore , it was used a port.Because of Trading, Immigrants from other country hoping to get a stable life                                                                           

------------------------->Playing by the river

In the past there was always an entertainment and competition for the people who live near in the Singapore river . For example Racing in the river using boats is one of them

In the present :
Because of development in the transportation and trading, By air sea and land and  , And Singapore river becoming more like heritage place  for tourist and explorer to explore there is a lesser boats

            The Difference : In the Old Photo ,there's a lot of Boats .However in the present there's a lesser Boats as it has a lesser space because its been refined and developed


                 The Similarities : It's that it always been visited by tourist and always there are still boats as seen in the picture

Task 6 : Overall Reflection

Our Group has learned a lot more of what we already know of the Singapore History during the trip and we have also learned how to read the map as we had to find the North, South, East and West of Fullerton hotel .We applied the HOM values like Responding with wonderment and awe when we realize how old the building actually was….we also applied the value Striving for accuracy and precision while we were checking the North, South, East and West of Fullerton Hotel. We also had to take responsible risk like going downtown and making sure everyone was together because it was crowded.

Temenggong :"Well Mr.Stamford Raffles,I am Temenggong Abdul Rahman,I'm sorry but I'm not the Sultan anymore it is my son Tengku Abdul Rahman so Therefore you willl have to ask for his permission."

Raffles : "Oh...fine then thankyou."

                      In the past It was used to be hospital  for the victims of Bombing by the Japanese Forces during the battle of Singapore and Japanese.
